Digital Circus: Pomni’s Escape is a colorful 3D parkour adventure game about a surreal circus. Pomni, a fearless circus performer, is the main character that players control, and their goal is to escape the circus by advancing through more and more intricate obstacle courses. The game features traditional platforming mechanics but with its own eerie circus twist — bouncing trampolines, spinning platforms and other carnival-like traps abound. The dual-control scheme of keyboard for movement and mouse for camera is simple to grasp and just barely ramps up to being challenging, so players will be rewarded for learning the ropes of precision jumping and environmental awareness.
How To Play Digital Circus:
Use WASD/left joystick to move Pomni while panning the camera with the mouse/right joystick to find new obstacles you’ll be up against next. Space bar/jump button performs jumps, how far a jump travels is relative to how fast a player is going. Perfect for lining up tricky jumps, right click to zoom in your view. Failure is only one way to learn: success costs you that, and more, because it demands constant scanning of your environment – mid-air decisions about landing zones, insignias above or below your path hinting at hidden platforms, environmental clues shaping what might be secret paths through the level. From there on out, you’ll face moving obstacles that require you to time it just right as you jump, to multi-stage jumps that require you to gauge your speed and flight path, all while the layout of the circus is in continuous flux!
